What is GameAxis LIVE?
GameAxis LIVE! is an all-in-one videogame and entertainment showcase, highlighting some of the hottest videogames in the country. From videogames and the hottest computer hardware, to movies and cool anime, there's always something to do and see at GameAxis LIVE!
What makes GameAxis LIVE! so different from other game shows?
Tough question, but we're glad you asked! Besides partnering with the Multimedia Development Corporation, the government institution charged with spearheading the development of ICT in Malaysia, it is also organized by GameAxis Unwired Malaysia and HWM Malaysia, Malaysia's leading videogames and 3Cs magazines! So we certainly know our stuff!
GameAxis LIVE! also boasts a number of official local distributors and publishers for major gaming titles for various platforms, such as Electronic Arts, Codemasters Studios, Nintendo, Konami, THQ, Koei, and more! There's never been a more definitive gaming event in Malaysia than GameAxis LIVE!
GameAxis LIVE! will also have a number of popular entertainment attractions, such as daily public anime screenings courtesy of Animax, the first and largest 24-hour network dedicated to anime, and special guest appearance by Hellboy, thanks to United International Pictures. For IT and computer enthusiasts, NVIDIA and a range of hardware partners will be present as well.
What else will be going on at GameAxis LIVE?
We will also have the CELGames 2008 Prelims and Grand Finals, our own local homegrown tournament. Anyone can participate, regardless of whether you're a Malaysian or not! Now in its 4th year, CELGames provides a healthy, competitive avenue for gamers to congregate at and participate. Plus gamers get to win up to RM25,000 in cash and prizes too!
When and where will GameAxis LIVE! take place?
It will be held on the 11th to 13th July, 2008 at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre, Hall 2, Level 3. The Mid Valley Exhibition Centre is located inside Mid Valley Megamall, which can be accessed via bus, KTM, or LRT. For more information on how to get there, please check out the following site:
